GOURMET TRAVEL WITH SKIING DAYS IN Abruzzo

Culinary and sportive peaks

Craggy and majestic mountain tops loom over this genuine region rich in the dark red Montepulciano wine running through its veins. Subtle shades and a warm, spicy aroma characterize the grapes that yield a large gathering in spite of the scarcely cultivable area of this mountain region.

The history of Abruzzi wine and its admirers ranges from Roman patricians to Hannibal, and to Renaissance. Today some dedicated winegrowers reconsider their valuable heritage working intensively on the refinement of autochthon grapes that have become the region’s pride.

The immense nature dominates the whole land and the virgin mountainside is so impervious, that man is not able to penetrate everywhere. Landscapes are flowing by: hills, fields, species-rich forests while the peaks brag with snow. The additional program, irresistible next to the culinary delights, consists of two days on the wonderful ski slopes of the Abruzzi winter sports area, framed picturesquely by the highest tops of the Apennines in an impressive nature. As a matter of course we will cater for the equipment and a skiing instructor may assist you for individual orientation or accompany you along the slopes. A memorable experience that enthuses on each level.
